Romily Alice is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work explores gender, feminism, the Post-Internet age and the physical act of making. Born in London, Romily currently works from her neon studio in Leeds whilst studying at Leeds College of Art. In May 2016 Romily was named the recipient of the Jameson Works Bursary.
The work often begins with a personal story, or reflects comments that are current to the artist. Craftsmanship is important and if she is inclined to make something, the medium will not be the distraction, and she will learn how to work within the medium.
